What to expect
Meet your guide at Main square of McLeod ganj market (meeting Point) and will take you location where the hike will start as per scheduled pick up time. Walk through the mixed forest of oak, rhododendron and deodar trees. The trail is well marked all the way up to Triund.
From McLeod Ganj it is 3/4 hours steep ascent to Triund. Small tea shops on the way can provide good refreshments. Triund is an alpine meadow situates atop a flat ridge with fine views of peaks of Dhauladhars on one side an Kangra valley on the other side.
After spending quality of time in the lap of Himalayas,les start descending to McLeod Ganj from Tiund. Take the same route on the way back or follow the grassy ridge which will lead to Bhagsu Nag Temple, after crossing a small waterfall on the way. McLeod Ganj is only 1.5 Km from the Bhagsu Nag by road. When the tour ends, you will return to original meeting point.
